Tonight's message was especially beneficial for me tonight. Tony taught us that the love the Lord shows us is so great that there is no way we could possibly love him back in the same way. My favorite line from tonight's message: "No matter what you're going through, Christ can and will make it for your betterment. Each and every step you take on your journey, our Lord is with you."
Tony's message tonight was about trust. Who and what we put our trust in is very important and if misplaced can lead us down the wrong path.
Our devotional tonight was about our decisions and indecisions. David made some great illustrations about the importance and consequences of our choices.
The message tonight focused on the story of Gideon. God intentionally paired down Gideon's army so no one would doubt His involvement. In the same way Tony shared a story from his own life where he was reminded that all blessings come not from the work of our hands, but from God.
David's devotional this week was all about the mountain top and the valley. The cycle of our lives will always take us through many ups and downs. Finding contentment and strength in God is key to everywhere we may find ourselves.
