Tony's message was all about giving thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Thankfulness is common and easy when things are going well but as Christians, we are to be thankful always. Why should we be thankful when times are tough? Have you ever heard the phrase "time heals all wounds"? Tony challenges the accuracy of that statement and rightly asserts that real and complete healing comes from the Lord. This was a wonderful message with some great testimonies to go with it. Enjoy
Tonight's message was especially beneficial for me tonight. Tony taught us that the love the Lord shows us is so great that there is no way we could possibly love him back in the same way. My favorite line from tonight's message: "No matter what you're going through, Christ can and will make it for your betterment. Each and every step you take on your journey, our Lord is with you."
Tony's message tonight was about trust. Who and what we put our trust in is very important and if misplaced can lead us down the wrong path.
